Problem Statement

Real time position tracking of automobiles in large indoor workshops or underground areas like parking lots is not normally possible as GPS signal is not available. Live tracking of the position of automobiles in workshops can bring in a lot of added value to the workshops and help the workshops to optimize workflow.

Our Solution

Using Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons (transmitters) and gateways (receivers), we will be able to locate automobiles indoors, with very good accuracy. The position tracking is further improved using Machine Learning algorithms and data analytics is also pro.

What makes our solution unique?

Compared to the existing solutions, our solution offers higher accuracy due to the hybrid approach using machine learning and state-of-the-art BLE technology. BLE 5.0 is one of the least power hungry wireless technologies in IoT and this enables us to provide a solution which will run for 1 to 2 years without any service or maintenance required. And compared to other solutions which implement traditional technologies like RFID or GPS, our solution only costs a fraction of our competitor products. Additionally, our product could also help the workshop managers by providing insights about the time spent at each of the departments in a workshop and optimize the workflow. This can help in identifying the average time spent by vehicles in each section giving an indication towards the efficiency or inefficiency of equipment and people in that section.
